Anna Lee began appearing on daytime in 1978 as Lila Quartermaine on General Hospital. Lee would portray the role until 2003 when she was let go when a behind the scenes change happened. Lee's sons noted that her health increasingly declined after being let go from the show. Lee passed on May 14, 2004 at the age of 91. Lee was paralyzed from the waist down after a car accident. Lee appeared in several TV series and feature films during her long career.

Personal LifeEdit

Lee was married three times. Lee's first marriage was to Robert Stevenson (1934-1944) and they had two children: Joanna Venetia Invicta (b. 03/10/1938) and Caroline. Lee married her second husband, George Stafford in 1944 and divorced in 1964. They had three children: John, Stephen and Timothy Paul (b. 11/28/1955). Tim acts under the name Jeffrey Byron and has appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful and One Life to Live. Lee's third marriage was to Robert Nathan from April 5, 1970 until his death on May 25, 1985.
