Actor; Director; Acting Coach

Years Active

1980-2013

Darnell Williams' daytime career began in 1980 when he joined All My Children as Jesse Hubbard. Williams' Jesse was eventually paired up with Debbi Morgan's Angie and they became one of daytime most famous super couples. Williams left AMC in 1989 when Jesse was "killed" off. Williams even returned to ghostly form to AMC in 1993-1994 and 2000-2001. In 1995, Williams joined Loving as Jesse look-a-like, Jacob Foster, where Morgan was already appearing on as Angie. Williams continued playing Jacob on The City from 1996 until 1997. Williams worked behind the scenes at AMC as a director and an acting coach in the early 2000's. Williams appeared on Guiding Light in 2007 as Griggs. In 2008, Williams returned to AMC as a very much alive Jesse. In February 2012, Williams joined the cast of The Young and the Restless, a move that reunited him with Debbi Morgan.  The character was dropped to recurring status in late 2012.  Williams rejoined AMC when it was rebooted online in 2013.
