In 2007, Y&R decide to write off Ashley but Davidson would bring Ashley to sister show The Bold and the Beautiful. Ashley's storyline would soon dry up and Davidson would make her way back to Y&R in 2008. In May 2012, it was announced the Davidson had been let go from Y&R yet again. Davidson returned to DAYS on October 11, 2012 as Kristen. Davidson opted to leave DAYS when her year long contract expired in November 2013.
