Erika Slezak's daytime career began in 1970 when she took over the role of Victoria Lord on One Life to Live from actresses Gillian Spencer and Joanne Dorian whe she replaced them. Slezak portrayed the role until the series cancellation in 2012. Slezak returned to the role of Viki when the series returned online in April 2013. Slezak took some time off in the early to mid 1980s when she was going to be on maternity leave and she was going to be temporarily replaced by 2 actresses in 1981 and 1986.
