Sarah Joy Brown came to the attention of daytime audiences in 1996 when she was cast as Carly Benson on General Hospital. Brown won three Daytime Emmy's for her portrayal before leaving the show in April 2000. In 2001, Brown took on the role of Julia Larrabee on As the World Turns. Brown returned to General Hospital in 2008 but as a new character, Claudia Zacchara. Brown stayed with GH for just under two years leaving to take on the role of Agnes Jones on The Bold and the Beautiful. Brown's stint on B&B was short lived and she was eventually dropped to recurring status. In late 2011, Brown joined Days of our Lives as Madison James but was written out after less than a year. Brown made a return appeared to GH in April 2014 as Carly.
