Val Dufour joined daytime in 1965 as Andre Lazar on The Edge of Night. In 1967, Dufour joined the cast of Another World as Walter Curtin, a role he also played on the AW spinoff Somerset. From 1972-1979, Dufour played John Wyatt on Search for Tomorrow. Dufour died on July 27, 2000 of cancer.
