Marj Dusay's daytime career began in 1983 when she joined the cast of Capitol as Myra Clegg. Dusay joined Santa Barbara in 1987 as Pamela Capwell Conrad. In 1993, Dusay filled in for Louise Sorel on Days of our Lives as Vivian Alamain. From 1993-1997, Dusay was a cast member on Guiding Light as Alexandra Spaulding. Dusay returned to GL in late 1998 for a three month stay. In 1999, Dusay joined All My Children as Vanessa Bennett, a role she played until 2002. Dusay rejoined GL after Vanessa was killed off AMC and stayed with GL until its cancellation in 2009. Dusay died on January 28, 2020 at age 83

Dusay was married to John Dusay (1955-1961) and they had to children: Debra and Randall (who died in 1993). From 1967 until his death in 1988, Dusay was married to Thomas Perine.
