Anne Heche appeared on daytime from 1987 through 1991 in the dual role of twins Vicky Hudson and Marley Love on Another World. After leaving Another World, actress Jensen Buchanan had replaced her on the show until its cancellation. Heche continued acting after leaving daytime appearing in movies and TV series. On August 5, 2022, Heche was in a serious car accident where she drove her car into someone's home lighting the house and car on fire. Heche suffered an anoxic brain injury and was removed from life support on August 12, 2022 where she subsequently died on her injuries. Heche was 53 years old.

Heche was married to Coley Laffoon (2001-2009) and they had one child: Homer Heche (b. 03/02/2002). Heche also has a child with James Tupper named Atlas Heche (b. 03/2009).
