Forrest Compton's daytime career began in 1971 as Mike Karr on The Edge of Night, a role he played until the series cancellation in 1984. Compton went on to appear on Another World as Alfred Cory, As the World Turns as Charles DeWitt, Dr, Daley on Loving and on One Life to Live as Bill Whatley through the 1980's and 1990's. Compton's last acting credits were in 2002 on episodes of Ed. Compton died on April 4, 2020 at age 94 from complications of COVID-19.
