James Lipton appeared on daytime as Richard Grant Jr. on Guiding Light from 1951 to 1962. Lipton also served as head writer for GL, Another World and Capitol as well as on the writing staffs of The Edge of Night and The Doctors. Lipton is best known for hosting the Bravo series Inside the Actor's Studio where he interviews actors on their craft. Lipton was honored with a lifetime achievement Daytime Emmy in 2007.
