Jonathan Jackson's daytime career began in 1993 when he was cast as Lucky Spencer on General Hospital. Jackson left GH in 1999 to pursue other opportunities. Jackson made numerous TV appearances and starred in 2002's Tuck Everlasting. After ten years away from daytime, Jackson returned to GH in 2009. Jackson appears on the ABC series Nashville as Avery Barkley. Jackson made a return to GH in July 2015 when Anthony Geary was preparing to depart the show.

Jackson has been married to Lisa Vultaggio since 06/21/2002. They have three children: Caleb (b. 06/21/2003), Adora (b. 2005), Titus (ex-Aiden, General Hospital) (b. 2010).
