Judith Chapman's career in daytime began in 1975 when she joined As the World Turns as Natalie Bannon, a role she played until 1978. In 1983, she played Charlotte Greer on Ryan's Hope. From 1984-1986, Chapman portrayed Ginny Blake on General Hospital. Chapman would than play Sandra Montaigne on One Life to Live in 1987. Chapman took over the role of Anjelica Deveraux on Days of our Lives from 1989-1990 and made a return guest appearance in 1991. In 2005, Chapman returned to daytime played Gloria Bardwell on The Young and the Restless where she is now on recurring status with the show. Chapman took over for an ailing Jess Walton in the late 1980's.

Chapman was married to Neilan Tyree (1984-1986).
