Lois Kibbee's daytime career began in 1970 when she joined The Edge of Night. Kibbee left the series after about a year and appeared on Somerset as Emily Moore Matson. Kibbee returned to The Edge of Night in 1973 and stayed with the show until its cancellation in 1984. In 1981, Kibbee took on double duty writing scripts for the show. Kibbee went on to appear on Search for Tomorrow and One Life to Live. Kibbee passed away on October 18, 1993 of a brain tumor.
