Scott Reeves first appearance in daytime was in 1988 when he played Jake Hogansen on Days of our Lives. In 1991, Reeves was cast as Ryan McNeil on The Young and the Restless a role he would play until 2001 when the show decided to kill off Ryan. Reeves focues on his music career over the next several years. In 2009, Reeves returned to daytime at Steve Webber on General Hospital. Reeves left GH in March 2013.

Reeves has been married to Melissa Reeves (Jennifer, Days of our Lives) since 03/23/1990. They have two children: Emily Taylor (b. 06/23/1992) and Lawrence David (b. 08/04/1997).
