Susan Brown's career in daytime started in 1959 when she temporarily played Liz Fraser on From These Roots. In the early 1960's, Brown again stepped in as a temporarily replacement on The Edge of Night playing Nancy Pollack. From 1964-1966, Brown played Ann Reynolds on The Young Marrieds. In 1977, Brown took on her most iconic role of Gail Baldwin on General Hospital. Brown left GH in 1985 and would go on to join Santa Barbara and As the World Turns. Brown returned to GH in 1992 and would stay with the show until 2001. In 1997, Brown crossed over to Port Charles. Brown's last acting appearance was a one day return to GH in 2004.
